HOLOPIS.COM, JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed his commitment to fighting corruption, stressing that all state officials, including members of the civil service, military, police, and prosecution service, must uphold integrity and remain accountable under the law.

“All state officials must realize that they are public servants entrusted by the people to carry out their duties responsibly. President Prabowo emphasized that every state official must uphold integrity and never betray the public trust,” Head of the Government Communications Office (Bakom RI) Muhammad Qodari said, Holopis.com reported, Tuesday (14/7).

Qodari said the president has urged all government officials to conduct regular self-evaluations and carry out their responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.

According to him, the message reflects the government’s broader commitment to building clean, accountable, and transparent governance.

He added that the government respects all ongoing legal proceedings and leaves law enforcement matters to the relevant authorities in accordance with Indonesian law. Qodari stressed that justice must be applied fairly regardless of a person’s rank, position, or political influence.

“Law enforcement must be carried out fairly, without regard to position, rank, or authority. No one should receive special treatment before the law,” he said.

Government Backs Professional and Impartial Law Enforcement

Qodari said the government supports law enforcement that is professional, transparent, and impartial.

He also cautioned against judging an entire institution based on the alleged misconduct of individual officials, saying isolated cases should not undermine public trust in government agencies.

“The government respects all ongoing legal processes and supports professional, transparent, and impartial law enforcement. It is important to understand that the actions of individual officials do not represent the institutions they serve. Consistent law enforcement is part of the state’s commitment to strengthening clean and accountable governance,” he said.

Qodari also urged the public to uphold the presumption of innocence while legal proceedings remain underway, warning against speculation or premature judgments before courts reach final decisions.

He called on Indonesians to maintain social harmony and continue supporting national development.

“With a safe environment, mutual trust, and respect for the legal process, we can continue advancing development and deliver greater prosperity for all Indonesians,” he said.
