HOLOPIS.COM, JAKARTA – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto for his leadership in the restoration of the Prambanan Temple Complex, expressing confidence that the project will be completed ahead of schedule because of what he described as Prabowo’s strategic planning.
“Today, I would like to say that President Prabowo, who is also a soldier, understands how to plan strategically. When he planned this restoration, there was a clear strategy behind it. Based on that planning, I am confident the restoration work will be completed ahead of schedule,” Modi said, Holopis.com reported, Thursday (9/7).
Modi also reflected on his three-day state visit to Indonesia, saying the warm hospitality extended by Prabowo, along with Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, left a lasting impression on him.
“From the moment I arrived until now, as I prepare to depart, President Prabowo has devoted so much of his time to me. He spent a great deal of time with me,” Modi said.
He added that every aspect of the visit had been carefully planned, describing it as a reflection of the close friendship between India and Indonesia.
“Every aspect of my visit and program was meticulously planned. President Prabowo’s attention to detail in every part of the program, as well as its flawless execution, truly left me speechless,” he said.
Modi also expressed his appreciation for the reception he and the Indian delegation received during the visit.
“As a close friend, I would like to express my sincere gratitude, not only on my own behalf but also on behalf of 1.4 billion people of India, for the extraordinary welcome extended to me and my delegation, and for the warmth, friendship, and affection we received,” he said.
He said the hospitality shown by Indonesia would remain a cherished memory for the people of India.
