With various incentives and regulatory improvements being prepared, Airlangga stressed that Indonesia’s textile industry still has strong prospects and should not be considered a “sunset industry.” The government is optimistic that the sector can continue to grow, attract new investment, and sustain millions of jobs.
“As for companies undergoing restructuring, the President has asked Danantara to immediately become active in resolving these issues,” Airlangga said.
