HOLOPIS.COM, JAKARTA – Ajang British Academy Film Awards ke-79 atau BAFTA 2026 resmi digelar di Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, London, pada Minggu (22/2). Acara yang dipandu Alan Cumming ini memberikan penghargaan kepada film-film terbaik produksi tahun 2025.
Film thriller One Battle After Another menjadi sorotan utama setelah memimpin nominasi dengan total 14 kategori dan keluar sebagai pemenang terbesar malam itu. Film tersebut membawa pulang sejumlah penghargaan penting, termasuk Best Film dan Best Director untuk Paul Thomas Anderson.
Selain itu, film Sinners yang meraih 13 nominasi juga mencatatkan kemenangan di beberapa kategori utama, seperti Best Original Screenplay dan Best Supporting Actress untuk Wunmi Mosaku.
