Bahkan, lagu-lagu di Album Midnights menjadi hits di kalangan penggemar dan pecinta musik pop.
Lagu Bejeweled menceritakan rasa frustasi penyanyi berusia 32 tahun itu, terhadap para mantan kekasihnya yang tidak pernah menghargainya lagi, sebagaimana ia layak dapatkan. Sontak hal tersebut, digambarkan dalam MV terbarunya, dimana peraih 11 Grammy Awards melakukan pembalasan, dengan pergi keluar untuk bermalam di sebuah Kota.
Dalam MV tersebut, diungkapkan bahwa sang kekasih tidak lagi tertarik pada dirinya, Swift tahu betul dan meyakini bahwa ia tetap mempesona. Lebih lagi, ia dapat memukau setiap orang.
Para penggemarnya menduga hal tersebut, berkaitan dengan sang mantan kekasihnya Calvin Harris. Pada acara Met Gala 2016, dimana saat itu Taylor Swift berdansa dengan Tom Hiddleston dengan menggunakan gaun gemerlapnya. Ternyata saat Met Gala 2016 Swift sedang memiliki masalah hubungan dengan sang mantan kekasih.
Karena hal itu, banyak kalangan menilai lagu Bejeweled ditunjukkan untuk sang mantan Calvin Harris. Taylor Swift dikenal, sering membuat lagu dari cerita asmaranya bersama sang mantan.
